About Run or Dye
Run or Dye is the Worlds most colourful run. It isn’t necessarily a race, although you can if you like but it’s more of a fun run which is open to all ages and dogs too, where you are able to walk, run, skip or dance the 5k route. At each kilometer you run through a paint station where volunteers are armed with eco-friendly plant-based powdered dye to shower you with. Once you finish the 5k run, it doesn’t stop there…there is still lots more fun to be had at the event. Keep an eye out for the professional photographers, they catch amazing still and action shots which are available to view and purchase about 24 hours after the event.
The Official Charity Partner for Run or Dye is HELP for HEROES. You can take part in one of the Run or Dye runs too as there are events all across the UK.

Run or Dye Cheshire
Before the Run
At 8am on the sunny Saturday 27th July, team forever beaux ventured to Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire to take part in the World’s most colourful 5k run – Run or Dye. As soon as we arrived, we completed registration, had a nosy inside our free goody bag, popped our Run or Dye T-Shirts on, pinned on our numbers and headed over to the stage area to warm up with Hero and our fellow Run or Dye runners. During the warm up we were able to have a little fun with the powder paint as we had a free sachet within our goody bags so we had fun trying to shower each other with a little colour. 🙂
During the Run
It’s the first time that some of us in team forever beaux had been to Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire and one thing that we all agreed on was that the views were spectacular, there were even horses galloping in the paddocks as we ran past, it was truly beautiful.
At each kilometer point, there were a team of volunteers that were happily standing at a colour station and were armed with the powder dye to shower us with colour we ran through.
After the Run
I won’t spoil it and mention everything that happens at the event and some things fun to be left a secret till the day, but there is a great event once you have finished the run. All I will say is, once you have grabbed your bottle of water at the finish line and had your picture taken with one of the professional photographers, head over to the main stage for some more colour fun 😉
All in all we can’t recommend the event enough, such a fun day and for charity too. It was such a good day where everyone is in high spirits and we are all going to do it again next year! 🙂
