Burt’s Bees Almond & Milk Hand Cream Review
Burt’s Bees Almond & Milk Hand Cream – Tried & Tested
Overview
Burt’s Bees Almond & Milk hand cream claims to moisturise and nourish your hands with a 99.9% natural formula with none of its ingredients tested on animals. Filled with vitamin E, sweet almond oil and beeswax, the Burt’s Bees hand cream in the almond and milk offers a pleasantly nutty scent. Within this Burt’s Bees range there is also a Beeswax and Banana Hand Cream, which I haven’t tried but the scent sounds interesting.

Packaging
The packaging is a 57g screw top lid jar, with enough cream to last around 6-8 months and just small enough to fit perfectly in your handbag with the added benefit of not risking it popping or exploding! The first thing that struck me with the packaging was the gorgeous rural feel to it, it really expresses the purpose of Burt’s Bees who describe themselves as earth friendly and natural. The packaging is so pleasant enough to make a beautiful gift for a friend.
Burt’s Bees Almond & Milk Hand Cream Ingredients
prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, aqua, cera alba, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, kaolin, parfum, citrus grandis seed extract, tocopherol, nonfat dry milk, carrageenan, glycerin, glycine soja oil,, stearic acid, glucose, sodium borate, sodium chloride, citric acid, sucrose, lactoperoxidase, glucose oxidase, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, potassium iodide, potassium thiocyanate, linalool
Scent
This Burt’s Bees hand cream smells exactly how it claims to, nutty and milky with hints of honey- almost good enough to eat! The smell remains much longer on the hands compared to many hand moisturisers I’ve used before. It is a very potent scent, which if you love it like I do is great, however if the smell is not to your preference then it might be a little overpowering.
Consistency / Application
The product has a thick, creamy velvety consistency, which feels lovely and soothing when rubbing in. Because of the thickness of this hand cream you only need a small amount each time. Burt’s Bees state that the best time to apply is after washing hands, however if I was at work I found it takes a while to soak in so I prefer to put it on every night before I go to bed.
Benefits
The Burt’s Bees almond & milk hand cream has unquestionably soothed and moisturised my hands, they feel soft and nourished and it has definitely helped combat the air conditioning dryness! I absolutely love the smell and feel of this hand cream which has prompted me to check out more of the Burt’s Bees collection for myself and as gifts. The added benefit is it’s all natural and cruelty free!
