Dr PawPaw Tinted Ultimate Red Balm Review
Dr PawPaw Tinted Ultimate Red Balm – Tried & Tested
Overview
Dr PawPaw Tinted Ultimate Red Balm boasts healing and moisturising qualities from its key ingredient; fermented PawPaw which has a number of uses from use on lips and cheeks to even treatment for skin irritations and moisturiser for sun burn! This particular ultimate balm, however offers red tint which is ideal for lips and cheeks.

Packaging
The Dr PawPaw red balm comes in a 25ml plastic squeezy tube which is efficient when applying to lips as you can put it straight on or with your fingers.

Scent
This balm is fragrance free, which is nice if you prefer an unscented balm as a lot of balms tend to have a scent.
Consistency / Application
With quite a thick consistency, I’d describe it as a lip balm in a tube, you can squeeze just as much as you need out on to your fingers and it applies smoothly, melting on to lips for a soft finish. The excess left behind is also perfect for rubbing into your hands as the tint doesn’t show and it helps moisturise them! I found that you only need a tiny amount if you are applying it to cheeks, using two fingers to dab it on to the apples of my cheeks because I found that rubbing in can interfere with foundation.

Benefits
The Dr PawPaw Tinted Ultimate Red Balm is perfect for those who, like me, don’t like a bold lip but just a subtle tint. It is perfect for everyday use to moisturise lips and leave them feeling softer. It is also perfect to add a small hint of colour to cheeks, which I found was great on ‘no make-up’ days where I only applied the bare minimum as it gave me a little colour. The excess balm also rubs in nicely as a hand balm / nail and cuticle rub as the tint fades away.
